AN
ACT RENAMING THE ADIONG MEMORIAL STATE POLYTECHNIC STATE COLLEGE IN THE MUNICIPALITY
OF DITSAAN-RAMAIN, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR, AS THE “ADIONG MEMORIAL STATE
COLLEGE”
Be
it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Congress assembled:
SECTION
1. The
Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College located in the Municipality of Ditsaan-Ramain, Province of Lanao del Sur, is hereby
renamed as the Adiong Memorial State College.
SECTION
2. The
provisions of Republic Act No. 8292, otherwise known as the “Higher Education
Modernization Act of 1997”, shall form part of this Act.
SECTION
3. All
laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, rules and regulations contrary to
or inconsistent with the provision of this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
SECTION
4. This
Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official
Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
